Consider the End - Silver Hawk and Martlet Wax Seal Pendant

A hawk soars above, symbolizing vision, clarity, and purpose. Below, a trio of martlets - mythical birds known for their ceaseless flight - represent restlessness, aspiration, and the journey of the soul. Together, they form a powerful image of perspective and direction. The Latin inscription Respice Finem, meaning “look to the end,” reminds us to live with intention, guided by foresight and a deeper sense of calling. This piece invites reflection and resolve, encouraging us to stay true to our course, even through uncertainty. Cast in solid sterling silver from an early 19th-century British wax seal and carefully finished in our small Nova Scotia studio. Size: 32 x 24mm (1 1/4" x 1")
